US tech company Amazon announced on Monday that it will launch a free skills program to train people on how to work with artificial intelligence.
Amazon unveiled the launch of the new AA Ready program, which will provide free AI skills training and education to two million people globally by 2025.
The company also announced eight new and free courses to help adults master the use of artificial and generative intelligence, and a new fellowship program for Amazon Web Services Generative AI in collaboration with e-learning platform Udasti.
Swami Sivasubramanian, vice president of data and AI at Amazon Web Services Generitive AI, said: "AI is the most transformative technology of our generation. If we are going to unleash the full potential of AI to overcome the most difficult problems, we have to make AI learning available to anyone with a desire to learn."
