The 21st edition of the Arab Media Forum 2023 will host three creative writers to sign selected works from their latest and most important writings that have achieved success and received a remarkable turnout from readers, at the venue of the event, which will start on September 26, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and will continue for two days at Madinat Jumeirah - Dubai.
Cultural and civilizational dimension
The Director of the Dubai Press Club, Dr. Maitha Buhumaid, welcomed a group of creatives whose works found great resonance with the Arab reader. She said: "In order to add a cultural dimension to the most prominent event on the media scene in the region, and given the intellectual and cultural value of the authors participating in this special event in the region, the Dubai Press Club is organizing in conjunction with the Arab Media Forum this event that allows writers to connect with their readers and enrich their professional experiences." The forum will host the Egyptian writer Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf El-Shazly, author of the novel "The Papers of the Egyptian Shamoon ", as part of a dialogue session moderated by the journalist Parween Habib, from Dubai Media Incorporated, to discuss the novel, which has achieved great popularity and public success and topped the bestseller lists for two years, and the ideas included in the novel.
Writer Osama El-Shazly expressed his deep gratitude for the invitation he received from the Arab Media Forum to talk about his creative experience, and to sign his novel "The Papers of Shimon Al-Masri", stressing his aspiration to meet the participants in this major media event, to answer their questions and discuss the content of his novel.

For his part, the Lebanese writer Dr. Khaled Ghattas stressed his happiness to attend the Arab Media Forum within its 21st session, and his appreciation for this prominent media forum, which annually includes a crowd of elite intellectuals, writers and media makers in the Arab region, stressing that the forum is an ideal platform to launch any creative work aimed at enriching thought and providing new visions on topics that affect people's lives and affect them.
During the forum, Ghattas will sign his new book, "This is not what I wrote", following a session in which Diala Ali, from Dubai Media Incorporated, will discuss with him the most prominent features of his thinking in his new book.

Emirati literary creativity will also be present within the framework of the events accompanying the Arab Media Forum, hosted by Emirati writer Reem Al Kamali, author of the novel "Diary of Rose", which she will sign during the forum, while Amer bin Jassas from Abu Dhabi Media Incorporated will interview her about her experience with the art of the novel, what encouraged her to enter the literary field, and the ideas addressed in her novel work, which takes place in the sixties of the last century.
Reem Al Kamali says about her experience in writing, specifically in this novel, that she resorted to the idea of "diaries" as a way to highlight the conflicting feelings of her heroine "Rose", her confusion and confusion of feelings, and her aspirations in the face of the circumstances surrounding her at the time.
