In fact, the removal, organized by the City of Naples, of the blue banners that in recent months have decorated the city streets for the victory of the third championship of Naples will start next week. The plan to remove the banners was at the center of a meeting held at Palazzo San Giacomo, seat of the Municipality, in which it was decided that the interventions, which can be carried out both during the day and at night, will start from next Monday starting from the territory of the Tenth Municipality, corresponding to the territory of the Fuorigrotta and Bagnoli districts and where the Diego Armando Maradona stadium insists.

The mayor Gaetano Manfredi thanks "the citizens, associations and fans who are already working spontaneously" and prepares "a system organized by the Administration". The councilors for the Environment Vincenzo Santagada and Legality Antonio De Iesu add: "It is an important collaboration for which we are very grateful, we will support a considerable effort and being able to count on the contribution of many Neapolitans will allow us to bring the streets of the city back to normal more quickly, avoiding the risk that the banners, exposed too long to the elements, may become a serious danger to the security of citizens".

During the meeting it was emphasized that "for the correct disposal of banners removed in private sites, by citizens, it is necessary to confer them exclusively at fixed ecological islands". On the website of Asia, the urban hygiene company of the Municipality of Naples, it is possible to consult the list and opening hours of the fixed ecological islands. In addition, Asia will set up a series of additional "mobile" ecological islands to facilitate citizens, in the various points of the city, in the collection of materials subsequently sent for recycling.
