<Oh! The second search term > clicked on is "airline poster calling college students angry."

This is a promotional poster placed by a Korean airline in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, and some universities in Daejeon.

The purpose is to recruit a travel group to promote international flights from Cheongju Airport to university students in the area.

However, it was embroiled in controversy because of the phrase "you have worked in vain this semester as well."

Isn't the phrase a mockery of college students' academic efforts?

The students criticized me for saying that it was June and they were having a hard time preparing for final exams and assignments, but when they saw posters like this, they felt weak and unhappy.

In response, the airline said that it was just using a meme that was trending among the MZ generation, and said that it would change the wording of the poster in question.

Users reacted by saying, "It's not fun to cross the line, please reflect on the person in charge", "I'm surprised that such a flimsy meme was approved", "If you were trying to show an example of a marketing disaster, it was a great success".
