A 37-year-old Italian citizen was arrested for sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated injury and resisting and raping a public official. The State Police stopped him on Friday evening in Sesto San Giovanni (Mi). Officers intervened at the man's home at the request of the victim's sister. The woman could not contact her sister and, sensing that there could be something abnormal and dangerous, she went to the house of her sister's partner and called the police when the 37-year-old, visibly altered, prevented her from seeing the joint.
The policemen, after a long negotiation, entered the apartment where, according to the man, the woman should not be disturbed because she was sleeping in the bedroom. After a few moments, the woman, full of bruises, managed to escape from the room to hug her sister and the man lashed out at the policemen hitting them in the face. The victim told the police that she was threatened with a knife by the man who, for almost 5 hours, forced her to stay in her apartment and perform sexual acts after making her mobile phone unusable.
