And I turn off the sound. On May 22, an employee of the Auchan supermarket in Louvroil, in the North, received a letter to inform him of his dismissal. The reason given and, let us say, incongruous. Indeed, according to our RTL colleagues, the management reproached the storekeeper for singing too loudly during his work.

This Tuesday morning, a hundred employees of the supermarket were gathered, early in the morning, to support their colleague by singing Michel Sardou. A kind of tribute to the habit that the latter had and which earned him a one-day layoff.

He "shouts a little"

According to the management of the supermarket, the sanction was taken after several complaints were filed by colleagues of the singing storekeeper. Quoted by our colleagues, a CFDT delegate acknowledges that the man in question "sang too loudly", see that he "shouts a little". On the other hand, he doubts that colleagues of the singer have been reduced to having to wear earplugs.

For its part, the management of Auchan Louvroil assumes the layoff of a day, ensuring that the singer had been warned several times in the last two years.
