Model Lee Pyeong (real name Lee Kyung-mi) passed away on the 31st of last month after a battle with cancer. He is 43 years old.

The mortuary of the deceased was arranged in Room 23 of the funeral home of Gangnam Mother Hospital in Seoul. Kickoff is at 2 a.m. on the 9nd.

Fellow model and actor Lee Sun-jin shared the news of Lee Pyeong's death on social media. Lee said, "I don't know what to say to get to you. It's too late. I didn't get in touch with you very often, and I didn't even get to meet you and buy you a delicious meal, and I just spent time passing by. In fact, I've avoided contacting you because I'm afraid you're going to get sick a lot, and I'm a coward. I'm sorry. Forgive me for being stupid," he belatedly apologized.

He continued, "I hope you don't feel lonely on your way like this, so I try to write, but I don't know if I'm doing a good job either. Please, peace, don't get sick there, smile more and be happy. I'll see you later. I'm sorry, flat. I love you, Pyeong-ah," he lamented.

Lee also said, "I've been very sick with cancer for a long time. Even though she was sick, she was happy to be on the runway and model. He said he only wanted to be remembered for his good looks as a model, and he didn't want people to know that he was sick, so he couldn't let people know about his sickness. I'm sorry," he said, adding, "I would like to ask many of you to join me on the way to the deceased for the sake of the best model and wonderful junior."

Lee Pyeong debuted as a model at the age of 18 and appeared on the catwalk stage of the late Andre Kim, Lee Sang-bong, Kwak Hyun-joo, and others. In 2016, she won the '31st Korea Best Dressed Swan Award for Female Model' and the 'Asia Awards Model Award'.
