RM said, "This year marks the 10th anniversary of BTS' debut. Over the past 10 years, we have been delivering various messages through various songs and campaigns," he said, adding that he has been thinking about how to give back the love he has received from his fans and the public.

Stating that one of his efforts was to promote Korean antique art, RM said, "I sincerely think that BTS and I can dare to be there in 2023 because there are so many people who have worked hard in their respective positions to make the war-torn country so beautiful and prosperous. I have immense gratitude and respect."

He went on to explain why he decided to become an ambassador, saying, "The activities of the Remains Excavation Diet, which conveys a message of unity and healing to everyone beyond disputes and conflicts, are what BTS is aiming for in the future."

Finally, RM said, "I fully agree with the purpose of the Remains Excavation Diet, and as it is a project of great national importance, I will make a great effort to promote this activity at home and abroad."

Previously, RM has been a "force for good" with BTS, using his worldwide popularity to give voice to various social issues such as racism, violence, and prejudice.
