A man, accused of having engaged in drug trafficking via Snapchat, was arrested last week by the police of the Pyrénées-Orientales. The suspect was surprised by chance, by the officers of the anti-crime squad, while he was talking with a pedestrian. Suspecting a drug transaction, the police followed his vehicle, and checked it, once parked. Cannabis resin and cash were found.

A search of the suspect's home allowed the police to discover nearly 7 kg of cannabis resin, more than 1 kg of cannabis herb, 32 g of cocaine and 2,370 euros in cash. Placed in custody, the man admitted that he was engaged in the resale of narcotics via this very popular social network, since February.
