The well-known Syrian artist Osama al-Romani passed away today at the age of 81.

Born on July 3, 1942 in Damascus, the Romanian is the younger brother of the late artist Hani Al-Romani.

The late began his artistic career in the sixties through works such as "Al-Mayla Alley", then participated in the plays "Tishreen Village" and "Ghoraba", and traveled to Kuwait to participate in the production of the series "Iftah Ya Simsim" and "Salamatak".

For years, he participated in Syrian works such as "Hammam al-Qishani", in which he played the role of Colonel Adeeb Shishakli. His last work was starring in the series "Alive in Love" alongside the artist Duraid Lahham.
