Caravans, cars, motorhomes, trucks... Some 1,500 "vehicles of all kinds" landed Saturday night in the scrubland and steep paths of the town of Viols-en-Laval, in the Hérault, to join a rave party. "Nearly 6,000 people are gathered" since, in the wilderness, on the scene, located about twenty kilometers north of Montpellier, announced the prefecture, specifying that "the massive arrival" of teufeurs has generated "significant traffic difficulties, on an unsuitable ground difficult to access".

About fifty gendarmes are mobilized "to fluidify traffic and secure the surroundings" said the services of the State which intended to carry out many controls.

An advanced medical post

The area is classified Natura 2000. "Faced with the risk of fire and the difficulties of access of the rescue, an awareness of the organizers was carried out by the firefighters of the SDIS 34 and the gendarmes," also notes the prefecture. In Isère, another undeclared rave party in the countryside of Roybon gathered 1,500 people Sunday morning, according to the prefecture of this department.
