typhoon, our tourists who were stranded in Guam have been coming in one after another since last night (29th). A total of 2,5 people are expected to return home one after another by today.

last night.

After Guam's local airport reopens, the first flight to South Korea arrives safely, and tourists emerge from the arrivals hall one by one.

[Seok Hee-so/Guam traveler: The generator was stopped, so I had to go back and forth to the 18th floor by stairs. I wanted to keep coming back to Korea, and it's just as good.]

Eleven members of a large family left for Guam together, but the family that had returned first was reunited. [Kim Yeon/Guam Traveler: I feel a lot of guilt as the person who asked me to go on the trip, and I think it's all because of me that (my mother) is sick.

My brother is going to meet me right now and meet me for a meal.]

The pregnant woman, who must have struggled even more during the isolation, breathed a sigh of relief.

[Yoo Han-yun, Ahn Da-kyung/Guam traveler: When we landed, everyone clapped their hands, and it was a little crying.]

From last night to this morning, a total of 11 flights entered the country from Guam.

So far, about 3,7 of the stranded tourists have returned home.

More than 1,1 more people are expected to return home today, but some tourists are still reportedly anxious locally because they have not been assigned a return flight.

Domestic airlines will deploy nine and seven more flights today and tomorrow, respectively, to bring the remaining tourists home one after the other.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs dispatched six members of the Rapid Response Team to Guam to assist with departure procedures and emergency patient response.
