The Arab Writers Union, Tartous branch, organized a "poetic dorsal", in which a group of poets participated, at the Union's headquarters in the city.

The poet Mohammed Yusuf Al-Hassan participated at the beginning of the afternoon with two poems entitled "Snow" and "I always said", where they expressed sincere human feelings without prejudice, and the two poems from his poetry collection "And I draw a face as it is".

In turn, the storyteller Abdul Hamid Younis participated in a short story that has projections on reality, in which he dealt with the view of the creator's situation in dealing with the text, and the story pursues the character of a writer sitting somewhere in a poetry evening in a satirical critical story drama.

The poet Mamdouh Laiqa from the Latakia branch of the Writers Union concluded the dorsal with three poems of Tafila poetry that varied between humanitarian, sentimental, and flirtative, bearing the titles "The Night of the Blind Rabab", "Travelers" and a flirtatious poem entitled "If You Had Loved Me".
