It was a dizzying situation, even if you think back on it. Police are seeking an arrest warrant for a passenger in his 200s who opened an emergency door inside a plane 30 meters above him, terrorizing passengers. I was most curious as to why the emergency exit door was opened, but only today (27th) this passenger opened his mouth.

First up, this is reporter Kim so-young.

Inside the plane, which had
been calm, a roar and a tremendous gust of wind blew into the cabin.

Mr. A, in his 200s, who was sitting next to the emergency exit 30 meters before landing, suddenly opened the door.

[Passenger on the plane in the accident: I heard a 'pop' sound, and when I turned around, I saw that the wind was coming in all at once. Mr. A, who has been refusing to give a statement since his
emergency arrest, revealed the reason for the opening during the police investigation on the second day.

He said he had been stressed out since he recently lost his job, and before the plane landed, he was frustrated and wanted to get off quickly, so he opened the emergency exit door.

But the weirdness didn't stop there.

After landing, when the plane stopped on the runway, Mr. A acted as if he was about to get out through the open emergency exit door.

Nearby passengers and crew members reportedly joined forces to stop it.

[Passengers on the accident plane: The people around me told me that (Mr. A) was frustrated when the plane had landed completely and kept trying to go outside. The flight attendants also asked for help. Please hold me so that I don't go out....]

Nine passengers who were taken to the hospital with extreme anxiety and breathing difficulties were also treated and discharged.

Police say Mr. A was not drinking or under the influence of drugs, and will apply for an arrest warrant after further investigation.

In order to prevent similar accidents, Asiana Airlines said it would not sell the seat next to the emergency exit where Mr. A sat until it was full.
