Emirates Literature and Archives partner to promote cultural program

The Emirates Literature Foundation has announced a partnership with the National Archives and Library to join forces to enhance the status of culture and integrate it into various aspects of society. The partnership stipulates the Emirates Literature Foundation's commitment to sponsor and coordinate a distinctive cultural programme to be held at the National Library and Archives, providing a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors. The partnership was officially announced at the National Library and Archives pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair during a meeting between Ahlam Bulooki, CEO of the Emirates Literature Foundation, and Abdulla Majed Al Ali, Director General of the National Archives and Library.

The partnership provides for the coordination and organization of a series of discussions covering various topics and opens up the horizons of dialogue and innovation to explore literature and methods of cultural development. The cultural programme will be divided according to topics such as translation, the use of technology in education and methods used to encourage inspiring and mind-provoking discussions.

Ahlam Bulooki said: "This partnership reflects our organization's commitment to providing an exceptional cultural experience that allows all segments of society to enjoy our rich and diverse literary heritage. Abdullah Majed Al Ali said: "We hope that this agreement will be a cultural gateway from which we can move towards a knowledge-based economy, and to lay the foundations of joint cooperation to ensure integration between the objectives of the Archive, the National Library and the Emirates Literature Foundation. He added: "The axes of this agreement promise more cultural prosperity, which adds a lot to the collections of the National Library that we are about to establish and establish its collections, and at the same time these axes will strengthen the bonds of cooperation between civilizations and will be a bridge for acculturation between the UAE and the peoples of the world."
