A subway driver who secretly grabbed a luxury purse that a passenger had left on a train has been caught by the police.

The Incheon Training Police Station announced today (30th) that it has arrested Mr. A, a driver in his 26s belonging to the Incheon Transportation Corporation, on suspicion of embezzlement.

Mr. A is accused of secretly taking a Prada card wallet (worth 19,5 won) left behind by passenger B in an electric car at 30:1 p.m. on the 40th at the Songyeon Light Festival Park Station on Incheon Subway Line 3 in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon City.

He found his wallet while looking inside the train during the round, and it was later determined that Mr. B, who came to look for the wallet, returned only three credit cards inside, saying, "I didn't find the wallet."

Mr. A registered his wallet as a lost item on the subway only after Mr. B called 112, and he personally went to the police station to confess the crime.

The Incheon Transportation Corporation confirmed the fact of Mr. A's crime and removed him from his position, and plans to hold a disciplinary committee at a later date to determine the level of disciplinary action against Mr. A.

An official of the Incheon Transportation Corporation said, "Mr. A did something that he should never have done as an employee of a corporation that values the trust of passengers," and "We will open a disciplinary committee when the police notify us of the results of the investigation."
