The Cologne club "Bootshaus" is once again in the top group in the ranking of the supposedly 100 best clubs in the world. He landed in sixth place among the top 2023 clubs in 100, according to DJ Mag.

In the voting of the trade magazine, Cologne once again won the inner-German duel: Berlin's "Berghain" only landed in 16th place (minus 4).

The "Watergate" in Berlin lost three places (now position 38), the "Tresor" even 22 places (now in 72nd place). According to the list, the best club in the world is the "Hï Ibiza" for the second time in a row.

"Nearly 700,000 people voted in the DJ Mag Top 2023 Clubs voting in 100, once again voting Ibiza's club scene to the top," the magazine reported. "The USA and especially the Asian region have also done very well – Germany's clubs, on the other hand, are all losing ground, even if the "boathouse" is still in the top 10."

USA with the most clubs in the top 100

The country with the most clubs in the "DJ Mag" top 100 is again the USA: "The number of American clubs increased from 16 to 19." Great Britain has nine clubs on the list. As a continent, Europe leads the voting with 44 clubs, but has five fewer in the ranking in 2023 than last year. "South America is represented by a total of 10 clubs, six of which are based in Brazil."

According to the magazine, most of the newcomers come from Asia: "Indonesia is adding two new clubs to the list, and there is one each from Japan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates."

Two clubs are in Africa: the "Muze" in Kenya's capital Nairobi (82nd place) and the "And" (96th place) in Johannesburg, South Africa. From Australia, the club "Home Sydney" (79th place) is represented.
