In the U.S., a man shot at his roommate, apparently in a dispute over a dumpling. The 64-year-old alleged shooter must answer after the incident in Louisville, in the largest city of the state of Kentucky, now for dangerous bodily injury in court, said the law enforcement authorities.

The man was arrested on Sunday after accusing his roommate of having eaten the last "hot pocket" – and then attacked him and shot him in the buttocks, as the Louisville police told the broadcasters WLKY-TV and Wave. According to police, the man is said to have thrown tiles at his roommate.

The alleged shooter was prohibited by the authorities from contact with his victim. A bail of $7500 was set.
