In the newly built chime recital hall of the Hubei Provincial Museum, the crisp and melodious sound of chimes swirls for a long time; The graceful dancing posture interprets the banquet scene of the court of the Chu State, reproduces the audio-visual feast of ancient Chinese music culture in the pre-Qin period, and allows the audience to linger.

As the "business card" of Hubei Provincial Museum, the chime music and dance, with its strength "circle fans", has recently welcomed tourists from all over the world to compete for "check-in".

"After the ticketing system opens, it sells out in a short time." Luo Le, the composer of the Hubei Provincial Museum Chime Orchestra, is coordinating the temporary performance, and he told reporters that the daily visitor reception in the museum has been close to the peak recently.

In Luo Le's view, chime music and dance use the art form of combining song, music and dance to "jump" out of the display case, and the audience directly "looks at its shape, listens to its voice, feels its feelings, and understands its meaning", interacting and connecting with the cultural relics.

In December 2021, the third phase of the Hubei Provincial Museum was completed and opened, and the exhibition area expanded to 12,3 square meters. The cultural relics collection is moved to a "new home", and the treasure of the town hall lives in a "mansion". In the 6-square-meter exhibition hall, the "king of swords" Yue Wang Goujian sword emits a sharp cold light in the display case. Outside the exhibition hall, there are already long queues of visitors.

Li Danyi, a college student from Nanyang, Henan Province, and her roommate "rushed" into the museum just after leaving the station. She said that she came to Yue Wang Goujian Sword to explore the secret of its "thousand-year-old stainless steel". "When I come to a city, I first walk into a museum." Li Danyi said that all kinds of cultural and creative peripherals are innovative, making young people very "on the head" (Internet slang, mostly refers to the overly excited and uncontrollable emotions caused by a certain thing).

In the exhibition hall of Zeng Hou Yi, under the bright dome of the "Twenty-eight Stars", the chimes of Zeng Hou Yi, who moved into the "new home", are even more magnificent and solemn. In this exhibition hall, visitors always "surround the display case layer by layer" just to see the treasure of the town hall.

Netizens called it "the most well-known salted fish ever". Wang Xianfu, deputy director of Hubei Provincial Museum, said that from many cultural relics, we can interpret the details of the life of the ancients and other information, which are closely related to the current daily life. Pulling in the distance between cultural relics and the public and excavating the story behind them requires a "grounded" interpretation. Making cultural relics "alive" is the direction of continuous exploration.

Recently, the newly created immersive holographic drama "Meet King Chuzhuang" was unveiled at the Hubei Provincial Museum. Combined with the characteristics of cultural relics in the collection, virtual reality, naked-eye 3D and other technologies carry out digital art processing of Chu cultural elements, reproducing the legendary history of King Chu Zhuang winning the Central Plains.

"With the help of scientific and technological means and art forms, realize the empathy of cultural relics and audiences." Wang Xianfu said that science and technology are "blessed" and art is reproduced, so that cultural inheritance maintains strong vitality.

Spanning thousands of years, the brilliant cultural relics tell and reproduce the brilliant Jingchu civilization. Wandering through the Hubei Provincial Museum, visitors can explore the secrets of time and space, meet the present, and speculate about the future. (End)
