'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll' Tina Turner has passed away. He is 83 years old.

Local media such as The New York Times reported on the 24th (local time) that Tina Turner died at her home in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland, after a long illness. Born in Tennessee in 1939, Tina acquired Swiss citizenship in 2013 when she remarried music producer Erwin Bach.

Like a singer of an era, the entire United States was engulfed in a wave of mourning. In a statement, U.S. President Joe Biden mourned that "Turner's personal strengths have been remarkable, as well as a one-of-a-kind talent in a generation that has forever changed American music," and that "overcoming adversity and even abuse has built her career through years and built her life and legacy entirely."

Turner debuted in 1958 and enjoyed the highest popularity for more than 30 years. In 1960, he formed the duo Ike & Tinner Turner with Ike Turner, releasing hits such as "Proud Mary", "A Full in Love", "It's Gone Work Out Fine", and "I Want to Take You Higher". In 1976, the team disbanded after divorcing Ike Turner.

In her autobiography, released in 1986, Turner revealed that she had been subjected to a long period of domestic violence by her husband, Ike. After that, he succeeded in making a comeback and became a superstar representing the 80s. He won six of his eight Grammy Awards in the 8s.

He was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 6 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, with the Ike & Tina Turner group in 1980 and solo in 1986.
