Amazon founder and space entrepreneur Jeff Bezos wants to remarry. During a sailing trip through the Mediterranean, the 59-year-old asked for the hand of his partner Lauren Sánchez at the weekend. Bezos, who has been living with the television journalist for more than four years, is said to have surprised his future wife on board his yacht with an engagement diamond weighing about 20 carats.
After almost 25 years, the entrepreneur divorced his then-wife Mackenzie Scott in 2019. In the same year, Sánchez announced the separation from media manager Patrick Whitesell.
A few months later, Bezos bought properties in Beverly Hills, California, and New York with the fifty-three-year-old, who, like him, comes from Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition, the couple is involved in their own environmental foundation, the Bezos Earth Fund, and regularly walks red carpets, as is now the case at the Cannes Film Festival.
