Pierre Cazeneuve (Renaissance), MP for the 7th constituency of Hauts-de-Seine and Éric Berdoati, mayor (DVD) of Saint-Cloud, want the extension of line 10 of the metro. Today, the terminus is located at Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud station. Tomorrow, they hope that it will be shifted to the future station of line 15 of the Grand Paris Express, still in Saint-Cloud. A request recently sent to Jean Castex, Chairman and CEO of RATP, and the CEO of Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM).
A viable project?
"Jean Castex assured me that he would look at this possibility seriously, especially since there is an important ecological issue," Pierre Cazeneuve told Le Parisien. But in 2010, when the municipality of Saint-Cloud already supported this solution, the file was shelved because of technical difficulties. But today, "the project [is] quite plausible," assured the mayor of Saint-Cloud.
At the other terminus of line 10, Gare d'Austerlitz, the elected representatives of Val-de-Marne also hope for the extension to Ivry-sur-Seine and then to Vitry-sur-Seine.
