Sahaba band, coming from Salamiya, performed a concert today on the stage of the House of Culture in Homs, in the presence of a large audience of young people and those interested in art and music.

The band, consisting of singers and musicians, presented folklore, heritage, tarab and youth songs that combined fine art and the style of songs loved by different age groups, and a group of musicians and professors of the Faculty of Music Education in Homs participated in playing.

In a statement to SANA's correspondent, singer Alaa Sifo said that the band was launched less than a year ago, and it consists of 3 young men and girls who were united by friendship a long time ago and united by the love of playing and singing and decided to start their own project, which has received great interaction since its first launch on social media.

Majd al-Fil said that Sahaba presents various musical styles and works hard to gain the trust and admiration of the audience, pointing out that today's concert is the first in Homs after several concerts organized in Hama and Salamiya.

Wind player and professor of music at Al-Baath University, George Dawi, pointed out that the concert was diverse, stressing that the band seeks to make its own mark, which made them as academic musicians seek to support it with all the possibilities available to them.
