The Emirates Heritage Club is participating in the 32nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ADLC) of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, and kicking off today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and running until May 28.

The club's pavilion will display a number of distinguished publications in various fields, such as "Sheikh Zayed's Diwan", "Masterpieces of the Statement in Al Nahyan", "From the Ottoman Documents in the History of the Arabian Peninsula", "The Development of Urban Planning for the City of Al Ain", in addition to a number of poetry collections, such as the Diwan of Faris of Poetry, the Diwan of Bin Ateej, the Diwan of Kamidesh bin Noman, and volumes of "Turath" magazine.

The club's pavilion also organizes a busy cultural program that keeps pace with the message of this year's exhibition, which celebrates the concept of "sustainability", in line with the UAE's declaration of 2023 as the Year of Sustainability, and the program will coincide with the hosting of the Republic of Turkey as a guest of honor for the current session, and the adoption of Ibn Khaldun as the personality of the exhibition.

The program includes a number of cultural and intellectual lectures, with the participation of a group of thinkers, writers, researchers and specialized academics, including lectures: "The Emirati Novel: A Critical Vision", "Documents of the Emirates and the Arabian Peninsula in the Ottoman Archives", "The Biography of Sheikh Zayed in the Falcon Novel by Gilbert Sinoé", "A Glimpse of Arab Travelers to Astana between the Sixteenth and Nineteenth Centuries", and "Ibn Khaldun, the Social World Across Time and Space", and other lectures.

The club's pavilion will also include a corner for traditional women's crafts, which introduce visitors to aspects of Emirati culture and heritage, as well as a drawing and coloring activity for children.
