A number of critics and writers at the Abu Roumaneh Cultural Center discussed the dangers of modern liberalism and its subversive attempts to control societies under the pretext of development and renewal.

During the seminar, researcher Dr. Nabil Tohme pointed out that liberalism means giving individuals absolute freedom without controls, and leaving it in all the labyrinths and ways that destroy humanity to remain without values, deterrents and morals, and turn into instincts.

Tohme said that this trend tends to be anomalous, as modern liberalism seeks a free economy that develops chaotic capital, leaving society to hunger and deprivation, pointing to the importance of educating the generation and society to protect itself from its dangers.

In turn, Dr. Farhat Al-Kassam considered that the goal of liberalism is to control the global economy in a way that serves the United States and Zionism, dismantle our moral values, and eliminate our historical heritage, which is the features of our personality, pointing to the need to confront these toxins and educate and warn our children about what the electronic network does.

Ammar Bakleh, head of the cultural center in Abu Roumaneh, explained that it is necessary to educate our youth and society about seminars, cultural activities and programs, because modern liberalism and what it aims at is the most dangerous type of invasion.

The symposium was attended by a number of researchers, writers and intellectuals, who enriched with their interventions the topic of the symposium.
