Megan Fox never liked her body. A statement that might seem a little daring from someone who owes much of his career and notoriety to his "dream body". However, the model and actress is categorical: she suffers from dysmorphophobia.

As a reminder, dysmorphophobia refers to a disorder of self-image resulting in the irrational fear of being ugly or malformed, and the propensity to focus on minimal physical "defects" or even fantasized. This behavioral disorder which, as one can imagine, affects more and more individuals under the reign of social networks, and Megan Fox is no exception.

A never-ending process

"I don't really see myself the way people see me. At no time in my life did I love my body. Never," Megan Fox explained in an interview with Sports Illustrated, which she covers.

Moreover, the 37-year-old actress remembers becoming aware of this complex relationship with her body very early in childhood without her really being able to say why. "When I was little, I was obsessed with looking like this or that. I don't know why I became aware of my body so young," she said.

Regardless, Megan Fox believes that "loving your body is a process that will never end."
