A man in his thirties died hit by a car in the night from Thursday to Friday, while walking in front of the nautical center Tony Bertrand, in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon, reports Lyon Mag.

The accident took place around 1:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the fire brigade was unable to revive the victim, the death was noted on the spot. According to Le Progrès, the driver of the vehicle surrendered in the morning and would be a trainee police officer. An investigation has been opened.
