He almost met the fate of his mother, Diana. Photographers chase Harry and Meghan for hours with cars

A spokesman for Britain's Prince Harry revealed today that the prince and his wife Meghan were subjected to a serious car chase from paparazzi photographers.
The spokesman also explained in a statement that the chase lasted more than two hours as the cars almost collided more than once, describing the incident as "almost catastrophic", bringing to mind the story of Harry's mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in 1997 when photographers were chasing her in Paris.

The statement added that the chase caused many traffic accidents and collisions, including other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two New York police officers.

"While the fame of a public figure comes from public attention, it should never come at the expense of the safety of the person or people," the statement added.

The chase took place after the prince and his wife attended an awards ceremony in New York, where Meghan was honored with the Lady Foundation's Visionary Woman Award for her global efforts advocating for the empowerment of women and girls.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, 41, quit their official royal duties in 2020 and have established a new life in California. The couple now have two children, three-year-old Archie and Lilibet, one year old.
