Two people were arrested and placed in custody Tuesday as part of the series of murders committed in Valence (Drôme) last week, reports France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. One of them is suspected of being involved in the murder committed in a bar in the city on Saturday. The second defendant was arrested as part of the investigation opened for the murder committed near a McDonald's restaurant in Valencia on the night of Thursday to Friday. His custody has been extended, says the prosecutor's office. As a reminder, three men were shot dead in Valencia in the space of four days, between Tuesday and Saturday. At this time, it is unclear whether the three cases are linked.
