Good news for Michel Drucker and his fans. The host is back home, nearly two months after undergoing surgery.

Michel Drucker had already had heart surgery in 2020 and it was during a routine check last February that doctors discovered "elements of recurrence". So they performed a mitral valve procedure the following month. Hospitalized since, the presenter of "Vive Dimanche" was allowed to continue his convalescence at home last week.

Return to the air

This was announced by Le Parisien, who spoke with Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez, the director of antennas and programs of France Télévisions. The latter confided that he had "spoken at length on the phone" with Michel Drucker and that he "is fine".

Nevertheless, the host's return to the air will not occur this season, as he had hoped. "He already has plenty of ideas for shows for next season and is preparing for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris," added the director of antennas and programs of France Télévisions.

See you after the summer, with a perfectly sharked Michel Drucker.
