Two young residents of Chambéry (Savoie) were arrested by the police on Monday. Aged 13, they are suspected of having assaulted a 12-year-old boy at the end of April, reports Le Dauphiné Libéré. They attacked him as he rode his scooter near a college.
A woman intervenes and puts an end to violence
While one of the suspects beat the victim, his accomplice filmed the scene in order to broadcast it on social networks. Witnessing this violence, a woman intervened and the two teenagers fled. They were identified through images published on the Internet.
Arrested on Monday, the two young people were presented the next day to the juvenile prosecutor's office. They will later be tried before the juvenile judge for gang violence and the dissemination of a video depicting an offence.
