Actor Ryu Seung-beom has revealed his love story with his Slovak wife.
Ryu Seung-beom appeared on tvN's "You Quiz," which aired on the 17th. Ryu Seung-beom, who left South Korea several years ago, shared the news of his daughter three years ago with the news of his marriage. His wife was known as a painter from Slovakia. On this day, Ryu Seung-beom revealed the process from meeting his Slovak wife for the first time to starting a family.
The two met in Bali, Indonesia, in 3. At the time, Ryu Seung-beom was staying in Bali to learn how to surf.
Ryu Seung-beom said, "I first saw my wife in a big rock-like place where people gather to watch the sunset and drink beer when the sun goes down. My heart just beat. If I have a crush, I tend to talk to him, but I can't. My heart was beating and I wanted to talk, but my feet weren't moving. It was the first time."

Fortunately, my wife was acquainted with an acquaintance of Ryu Seung-beom. Ryu Seung-beom asked an acquaintance to have a conversation with his wife over coffee at an acquaintance's house.
Ryu Seung-beom said, "My wife's profession is a painter, so we naturally talked about art and it worked well. However, three months later, when my wife passed away, we broke up."
Describing that period, Ryu Seung-beom said, "I thought about it sometimes, but I thought it was just a relationship," adding, "But one day, he sent me a book. When I saw the book, I decided, 'I have to meet this person,' so I went to Slovakia. He was surprised, but he must have been cheered up. I feel like it's destiny. I feel it more and more as I go along."
Ryu Seung-beom revealed his wife's profession as a "painter" and said, "When I asked her why she was painting, she looked at me once while I was painting, grinned, and then painted again. Then he just let go of the brush and said, 'All the little kids are drawing. It's about self-expression through painting. But you stopped, and I just didn't.'"
He continued, "I was struck by that story, and it resonated for a few days. She is my love and teacher. I'm so grateful that you've guided me to such a good place."
Ryu Seung-beom currently lives with his wife and daughter in his wife's hometown of Slovakia.
