Schools also closed in Pesaro, Fano, Urbino and Trecastelli, in the Senigalliese, after the orange weather alert issued by the Civil Protection of the Marche Region and in Partanna, in Trapani, Sicily where the mayor, Nicolò Catania signed the ordinance "for reasons of security and public safety".
