Pansori musician-turned-trot singer Hae-so (real name Kim Ara) has passed away suddenly, causing sadness.

According to officials, on Dec. 12, the trot singer was found dead in her accommodation. Later, it was revealed that the deceased female singer was Hae-so, a former Pansori musician, which shocked the music industry. Police said a suicide note was found at the scene.

Hae-so debuted in 2019 with the single album "My Life Me". He majored in pansori at the Korea National University of Arts, and was loved for his unique appealing voice. In April 2020, he participated in the "Tough Singer" hosted by "Choi Il-gu's Hurricane Radio" and won the final prize, becoming the 4th singer and recognized his skills.

In June 17, about one year and seven months after their debut, they released their new song <Kang Muni>, and a month later, in July, they made a deep impression by appearing with trot singer Kwak Ji-eun on the variety show <Breaking Jang Yoon-jung's Dojo> with Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan. At the time, Hae-so was very popular for his rendition of "I'm in a Hurry."

Hae-so was recognized for his cool singing ability based on pansori, appearing not only in music broadcasts but also on various radio and entertainment shows. However, Hae-so was scheduled to take the stage at the Sangwan Citizens' Day event in Wanju-gun, North Jeolla Province on the 1th, but he was eventually dropped out and his death became known.
