While the film "Hua Ran" has been invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival in Notable Sights, there is also a lot of interest in the film's protagonist, Hong Sa-bin.

Hong Sabin is a newcomer from Hanyang University's Department of Theatre and Film Studies. In 2018, he made his debut with the film "Vacation", which was selected as an invited film at the 17th Mise-en-Seine Short Film Festival, and attracted the attention of the film industry with his impressive performance in "Heatwave", which won the Grand Prize in the Youth-College Student Category at the 10th Chungmuro Short Film Festival.

In 2020, he played the role of the protagonist Cho Si Orphan in the play "Cho Si Orphan, Seed of Revenge," and showed a heavy presence on stage.

In this film, "Hwaran", he plays the role of the protagonist, Yeon-gyu, and delicately plays the emotional line of an 18-year-old boy who enters a harsh world. Song Joong-ki also graced the film by starring in a supporting role behind Hong Sa-bin in this work.

Hong Sabin said, "I am so honored and grateful to be a part of this wonderful film. I would like to thank all the staff who worked hard to present the film festival." He expressed his love for the work.

Director Kim Chang-hoon's film "Hwaran," which features talented actors such as Hong Sa-bin, Song Joong-ki, and Kim Hyung-seo (Bibi), was invited to participate in the 76th Cannes International Film Festival's "Remarkable Looks," a section that introduces new trends. This is the first invitation for both the director and the actor to the Cannes Film Festival, but Hong Sa-bin's feelings about attending the Cannes Film Festival for his first starring film will be even more extraordinary.

The blue-chip Hong Sabin, who is looking forward to the future, will continue his ten-day streak by starring in the movie "Breakout" as his next film.
