Fortunately, there were no casualties, but tremors were felt not only in East Sea but also in the Gangneung and Samcheok areas, and even in Gyeonggi Province and North Gyeongsang Province.
In the past two months, more than 30 large and small earthquakes have occurred in the East Sea region alone, and civil unrest is increasing.
Residents complain of fear of the ongoing earthquake, saying it is a precursor to a strong earthquake.
