The celebration hall of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival turned into a theater full of families, and the voices of children rose with cheers, before the first characters of the play «Alone in the House» appeared in the costume of an angel spreading his wings, and with the words «Once upon a time... In the Present Time and Time", the play begins by telling a story in a beautiful song, the characters dance to their sweet tunes, to ignite the stage with enthusiasm, applause and encouragement for the actors and dancers.

The play "Wahidan at Home" written by Fatima Al-Amer, music by "Nojoom", directed by Fahad Al-Ahmad, and produced by the Sharjah Book Authority, in cooperation with the Emirati company "Nojoom", and the Kuwaiti company Panther for artistic and theatrical production, and the representation of Wadima Ahmed, Mohammed Juma, Abdullah Nabil and Saud Al-Zarooni (UAE), in addition to Hanadi Al-Kandari, Shouq Al-Hadi, Mohammed Al-Haddad, Ahmed bin Hussein, Malak Abu Zeid and Jana Al-Failakawi (Kuwait).

The scenes continue with songs of varying rhythms, melodies and lyrics, simulating the details of the story, from the father and mother leaving the house, to the wake up of the daughter Noor and her rise from the bed, and meeting her brother Fahd, and their joy because they have become alone in the house, but a gang sneaks into the vicinity of the house, and begins to plan to enter it, so will the thieves succeed in entering the house, and what will happen to Nour and her brother Fahd, and will the parents return in time or too late, and who is this gang, and who sent it home? And what surprise awaits the viewers at the end of the play?
