Jessica Simpson's father is currently battling bone cancer. The singer made this revelation at the turn of an Instagram post that concerned a much more joyful event, namely the eleventh birthday of her daughter Maxwell, which took place on May 1. And while it is customary to make a wish by blowing out her candles, that of the girl was all found: that the treatment received by her grandfather for her disease works.

But as everyone knows, you should never reveal a wish, unless of course it has already come true. "My mother told her to share her wish if she wanted to, especially if it had already come true. Maxwell's birthday wish was that Papa Joe's bone cancer treatment would work," Jessica Simpson wrote in her post. "And it worked."

Amazed by her daughter's dedication to her family, Jessica Simpson ended her message with a eulogy of her eldest. "Thank you Maxi Drew for passing on your wish to our family and, more importantly, to my father," she added.

"You are fascinating, steadfast, intelligent, passionate, generous, loving, dedicated, inspiring, seductive, confident, empathetic, powerful, intuitive, beautiful, DETERMINED, enlightened and WONDERFUL. A child's faith is what keeps us all alive. »
