The public, for its part, is surprised that the actor, or his family, does not reveal what he suffers from or give clearer information about his state of health. And the post shared last week on Jamie Foxx's Instagram account, thanking in two sentences written those who sent him their good wishes, did not change anything, as we can read in the many comments of fans.
This silence raises questions as we are more and more used to seeing stars publicly share their recovery, like Jeremy Renner, who details his progress after going under his snowplow. Yet Jamie Foxx, unlike his many colleagues, has always separated his very public profession from his private life. As CNN notes, he has never mentioned, in seven years of relationship, his romance with Katie Holmes, nor has he used his social networks to stage his daily life. It therefore seems logical that his family does not spill over the reasons for his hospitalization, thus respecting the line of conduct that he has set since his debut on the screen.
