It only took a few purchases in a supermarket in the Saint-Cyprien district of Toulouse for Aramis, his dog he had tied up in front of the business, to vanish. The scene took place Tuesday evening, around 20 p.m., and the "kidnapper" of the Belgian shepherd acted with such naturalness that a witness believed that the animal belonged to him. Two hours later, his real master was at the police station to file a complaint.

The next day, thanks to the use of CCTV cameras, police patrols had an accurate description of the thief. And it was in front of another supermarket in the area, Avenue de Lombez, that he was arrested around 18 p.m. Placed in custody, the 35-year-old man, already known to the services, played Saint-Bernard, claiming to have simply wanted to save the dog.

A search of his home, in the commune of Cugnaux, allowed the police to find Aramis, "in perfect health". Then to return it to his master, delighted with the epilogue.
