A pensioner from Barlassina, in the province of Monza, was fined 800 euros by his municipality for repairing a pothole in the street. He told it himself from the Facebook page he manages, "It happens in Barlassina and surroundings", where he collects reports of city inefficiencies.

Claudio Trenta, with a selfie, shows the report and says that he received it for having plugged a hole on his own initiative after buying a bag of bitumen "without authorization and competence", which he considered dangerous, and that he was also obliged to remove the illegal work.

"I will formalize my complaint against the municipal police and the municipal administration for omission of official acts," the 72-year-old wrote in support of the post, stating that he had repeatedly reported the danger to the administration.
