The movie "Dream" starring actors Park Seo-joon and IU has surpassed 100 million viewers nationwide.

According to investment distributor PlusM Entertainment, "Dream" recorded a cumulative audience of 11,100,877 on the morning of the 26th (based on Yeongjinwi's integrated computer network). It has been 16 days since it was released on the 100th of last month.

Among the Korean films released this year, it is the second time that the cumulative audience has exceeded 139 million, after "Negotiations." However, like "Negotiations," "Dream" did not break even. With a production cost of 220.1 billion, "Dream" has a break-even point of 3.3 million.

"Dream", which debuted at No. 2 at the box office on its first day of release, got off to a great start, and with the release of "Super Mario Bros.", it came down from the top spot. Later, "Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3" was released, dropping to No. 1 at the box office. The audience decline began in the second week of its release, and as of the third week, the daily audience has dropped to <>,<>. In fact, breaking even has become difficult.

"Dream" tells the story of Hong Dae (Park Seo Joon), a former soccer player with no concept, and Somin (IU), a passionless PD, who challenge an impossible dream with a group of homeless Kookdae players. It was directed by Lee Byung-heon, who was a box office hit with "Extreme Job," and starred Park Seo-joon and IU.
