The second semi-final

The first 10 countries that "pulled off" the ticket for the final on May 13, at the Liverpool Arena, for the 67th edition of Eurovision Song Contest are Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czechia, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia and Norway.

And this evening, during the second semi-final, conducted by the unprecedented couple Corsi-Maionchi, you can get to know the other nations and their respective artists who will complete the parterre of finalists on May 13th. For a total of 26 countries that also includes the so-called Big Five including Italy (represented by Marco Mengoni), Spain, France, Germany, England plus, this year Ukraine, as defending champion of last year's edition in Turin, which enters the final.

Even if Italy is not in competition tonight, in the race there will still be a bit of blue, with the funk-rock band Pistoia Piqued Jacks, who represent the Republic of San Marino in Liverpool with the energy of their "Like An Animal".

Tonight's race sees the following nations compete against each other: Denmark, Armenia, Romania, Estonia, Belgium, Cyprus, Iceland, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, San Marino, Austria, Albania, Lithuania and Australia. Only ten of them will be able to qualify thanks to the televoting of the public. From Italy in this second semi-final it will not be possible to vote.

On stage, out of competition, also the representatives of Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, who go directly to the final.

Among the guests of the evening there will also be the Ukrainian pop star Mariya Yaremchuk, already competing in 2014 with the iconic number of the man who ran in the hamster wheel. In the lineup also a short interlude with Peppa Pig, the popular British cartoon that has conquered children all over the world.

For Rai Radio2, official radio of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, live radio and video, on channel 202 of digital terrestrial and tivùsat, Diletta Parlangeli, Saverio Raimondo and LaMario will give space to great international music, curiosities, background and the story of the second 16 semi-finalists in the race.
