The ad, spotted by Le Télégramme, has just been put online on the website of the luxury real estate agency Sotheby's. Nestled in the ria of Étel in Morbihan, the small island of Fandouillec is for sale. To afford this little corner of paradise of 3.64 hectares located ten minutes by boat from the mainland and the village of Belz, those interested will have to pay 2.782 million euros.

For this price, the future owners will be able to enjoy the tranquility of the island and its beach as well as the estuary of Étel which is home to many species of birds. They will stay in "a charming stone house of about 140 m² with all the comforts with water and electricity of the continent," says the announcement, specifying that the house includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a shelter for boats and to store gardening equipment.

According to Le Télégramme, the current owner of the island, located in a Natura 2000 area, had been convicted by the court of Lorient for having carried out work in his house without any building permit having been filed. The court ordered him to restore the premises within six months and sentenced him to a suspended fine of 5,000 euros.
