A group of students sat wearing rubber gloves in the face of colors and artistic tools, to implement a plastic painting of "Beach Waves", during an artistic workshop bearing the name of the painting at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival in its 14th session.

The workshop began with an explanation of how to outline the drawing, then using acrylic colors to color it in a circular style that restores Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai's painting "The Great Wave".

"We use the modeling method to depict the waves of the sea with plastic art, using acrylic colors, where we used only white and blue, to reach the shape of the sea wave," says the presenter of the workshop, Joya.

She adds: «We started by making the background and then projecting the colors and spreading them on the surface with a dedicated tool, until we finally reach the semi-circular shape of the beach waves», noting that the aim of the workshop is to explain how to use acrylic colors for children, and to develop their love of art from a young age.
