Hermes, Boran-sur-Oise, Guiscard, Longueil-Sainte-Marie, Plailly and Wavignies: here are the six new municipalities of the Oise where it is now possible to (re)make your identity card or passport. Good news for residents who, since the health crisis, have to wait a long time to get an appointment at the town hall. Waiting times of the order of 100 days in 2021 and 60 days in early 2023, reports Le Parisien.

Thanks to the deployment of the fingerprinting system in these six new cities, the department of Oise hopes to reduce delays by 50% by next July. The objective is therefore not to exceed 30 days of waiting. The process has not changed: you have to fill out a pre-file online and request an appointment in a municipality equipped with the device.

The prefecture chose the six new communes according to their geographical distribution and human resources. Five temporary counters will soon complete this offer, particularly in the cities of Creil, Compiègne and Beauvais.
