Jenna Ortega will play the daughter of Lydia Deetz, a character taken over by her initial actress, Winona Ryder. As for Michael Keaton, he finds Beetlejuice's scruffy costume and all his jokes. Justin Theroux has also landed a role, which has not yet been specified.

The production company Plan B, co-founded by Brad Pitt (who sold 60% of his shares at the end of last year), is producing the film.
