To promote tourism in the Oise, and more particularly in Compiègne and its surroundings, three intercommunalities have launched together a new website. After nearly a year of work and a test phase in the first quarter of 2023, it is now operational at the address, reports Le Courrier Picard, this Wednesday.

A project at 90,000 euros

The new platform, available in six languages, replaces the site. The project cost 90,000 euros in total was financed largely by the European Interreg fund. One third was the responsibility of the three territories concerned, namely: the Agglomeration of the Compiègne region (ARC), the Community of communes of the Lisières de l'Oise (CCLO) and the Community of communes of the Plaine d'Estrées (CCPE).

The site contains data collected and published by two employees. In particular, it offers various hotel and restaurant offers, sectors that represent a major economic challenge. "From now on, everyone will be able to register themselves to be referenced and then update their information," said Laurence Francart, director of the Tourist Office.
