Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said that the 17th edition of the Dubai Food Festival, which concluded recently, has achieved remarkable success over the course of <> days, expressing his happiness with the success achieved by the festival, especially as it celebrates its decade.

"The festival contributes to establishing Dubai as a global destination for creative food and gastronomy as the festival continues to progress over the years, attracting more award-winning international chefs serving the most delicious dishes and flavours in Dubai."

From its inception on April 21 to May <>, the Dubai Food Festival, the region's largest annual food and culinary festival, has hosted a unique array of events, innovative dishes, creative culinary experiences and the best deals on Dubai's most delicious cuisine.

From Dubai Restaurant Week, which featured more than 50 of the emirate's best restaurants, to a 'Journey into the World's Tastes' event, which highlighted a range of exclusive culinary experiences by award-winning chefs, to the beach canteen sponsored by e&, which was admired by visitors, to the AED 10 signature dish experience, the AED <> dining experience that contributed to a selection of Delicious and innovative dishes at special prices.

As Dubai's culinary scene evolves, the festival was a testament to the emirate's further excellence, with hundreds of restaurants and cafes competing to offer their best to allow residents and visitors to enjoy delicious dining experiences, explore new restaurants and sample a wide range of delicious cuisines.

Dubai Restaurant Week enjoyed a special place at the tenth edition of the festival, attracting more than 50 of the best restaurants in the emirate, showcasing unique experiences for a three-course dinner or two-course lunch at special prices, and welcoming more than 13,<> foodies and diners who enjoyed many dining experiences. Dubai Restaurant Week also provided guests with the opportunity to experience unique food tastes and menus at the city's most sought-after restaurants.

Restaurant managers and chefs were delighted with the high turnout from the audience and foodies who enjoyed tasting new dishes in multiple venues.

The tenth edition of the festival also saw the return of the 'Journey into the World of Tastes' event, which included around 100 carefully curated and curated events, including 'Chef's Table' events, classes by the most skilled chefs, dining experiences at the best restaurants in the emirate and workshops for young food lovers.

In celebration of its tenth edition, the Dubai Food Festival provided the 'Special Plate' for AED 10, with more than 200 restaurants and cafes showcasing their best dishes over the course of 17 days, and foodies enjoyed a variety of classic and exclusive dishes that satisfy all desires.

Record numbers

As part of the festival, the Beach Canteen celebrated a decade of success, attracting record numbers of more than 95,10 visitors to be one of the highlights of this year's festival. The event allowed free access to 50 diverse areas with more than <> dining concepts, and provided live entertainment and a range of daily activities, serving as an opportunity for gourmets, families and friends to enjoy delicious food al fresco.

Activities kicked off during the Eid Al Fitr holiday with fireworks displays, traditional performances in the main square, and the Food Fox photography exhibition, during which everyone was invited to share wonderful photos of the city's cuisine. A specialized jury selected 30 works that were exhibited in the beach canteen, and the top three winners received prizes.

To mark the tenth edition of the festival, a digital exhibition featuring photos and videos from the past decade was launched, which allowed visitors to relive the memories of the festival.

The festival also included the participation of a group of restaurants that offered outdoor seating, in addition to many musical evenings, food tours, and various events.

At the end of this exceptional edition of the Dubai Food Festival, gourmets and foodies in the city have enjoyed a host of unforgettable experiences that will remain in their memories until the next edition of the festival, which reinforces Dubai's position as the food and culinary capital of the region.

At the conclusion of the Dubai Food Festival, the festival announced a partnership between Dubai College of Tourism and Arabian Adventures, under which foodies will be invited to submit suggestions on organizing a special Dubai gastronomic session in the emirate, giving qualified participants the opportunity to see their suggestions in real life, as well as receive training as tour guides.
