The meeting place for documentary photography enthusiasts, the international fair Photo Doc., takes place once again at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux, in Paris, from 12 to 14 May 2023. Photo Doc. aims to be a platform for exploring and supporting documentary photography. The theme of this 7th edition is "The Self-portrait... Towards a common work", and it is Hiroh KiKaï (1945-2020), a Japanese photographer, who is the guest of honor. Twenty-five exhibition spaces are presented for more than 100 photographers represented. The 7th edition of the international fair Photo Doc. takes place at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux, in Paris, from 12 to 14 May 2023.
In the 25 exhibition spaces, where more than 100 photographers are represented, the Photo Doc. fair highlights documentary photography.
The guest of honor of this 2023 edition is Hiroh KiKai (1945-2020), a Japanese photographer.
This year's theme is "The Self-Portrait... Towards a common of the work".
The aim is to shed light on documentary photography and to see how artists question the world through their representation.
There will also be round tables and meetings with photographers, the program of which you can consult here.
New this year, a space dedicated to photo book publishers will be installed in the fair.
This edition is also placed under the patronage of the writer Fabrice Humbert, author of several books including Self-portrait in Black and White and The Origin of Violence, Renaudot Prize for pocket books.
And admission to the fair is free.
Founded in 2015 and located in Paris, Photo Doc. is a cultural and commercial association whose vocation is to disseminate, defend and support documentary photography and its new forms.
